Rabbi Eric M. Leiderman

Eric Leiderman (he/they) is an award-winning nonprofit professional and rabbi with over a decade of experience working with youth and emerging adults. Growing up in the New York metropolitan area, he is a product of Jewish day schools and Camp Ramah, crediting an unpaid high school internship at Camp Ramah in the Berkshires with launching his career. Eric has worked with several Jewish organizations in the United States and Israel, including the Fuchsberg Jerusalem Center and Hillel International. He now works at StandWithUs, the international Israel education and advocacy organization, as the IsraelLINK Managing Director of Communications, Training, and Partnerships.


Eric studied sociology and religion at Binghamton University and majored in Judaic studies at the University of Hartford. He has spent time studying at the Conservative Yeshiva in Jerusalem, and the Jewish Theological Seminary in New York, holds private semicha (rabbinic ordination), and is currently working towards a second semicha (rabbinic ordination) with Rabbi Chaim Brovender.


Eric serves as President and co-founder of Masorti On Campus and Executive Creative Director of a new consultancy called MasortiX. He sits on the boards of directors of MERCAZ USA and the American Zionist Movement. He represented MERCAZ as a delegate to the Extraordinary Zionist Congress (2023) and the 38th World Zionist Congress (2020). He lives in Chicago with his wife, Sarah Pila-Leiderman, PhD.
