Eric M. Leiderman
Eric Leiderman (he/they) is an award-winning nonprofit professional with over a decade of experience working with youth and emerging adults. Growing up in the New York metropolitan area, he is a product of Jewish day schools and Camp Ramah, crediting an unpaid high school internship turned full-time job at Camp Ramah in the Berkshires with launching his career. Eric has worked with a number of Jewish organizations in the United States and Israel, including the Fuchsberg Jerusalem Center and Hillel International.
Eric studied sociology and religion at Binghamton University and majored in Judaic studies at the University of Hartford. He has spent time studying at the Conservative Yeshiva in Jerusalem, the Jewish Theological Seminary in New York, and is currently working towards semicha (rabbinic ordination) with Rabbi Chaim Brovender.
Eric currently serves as both President & Co-Founder of Masorti On Campus and Executive Creative Director of a new initiative called Masorti X. He sits on the board of directors of both MERCAZ USA and the American Zionist Movement, in addition to the Va'ad HaPoel HaTzioni (Zionist General Council). Since August 2020, he has lived in Chicago with his wife Sarah Pila-Leiderman, PhD.
